I like the original more because the story made more sense. It was a very twisted deep story!!! The new Eva gave a 100% push on the aesthetics of the show and I love it so much too!!! Because Evangelion aesthetics is my life! But it feels like they didn’t really work on the story as hard - it just feels like another modern fanservice anime (WITH GREAT AESTHETICS!). Like, it’s so obvious! Suddenly the children don’t age (because the fanboys love those small robot girls), there’s an extra robot girl (because the fanboys love those robot girls!). I still watch! I still love!
